Description

If you struggle to choose between a knobby, semi-slick, or full slick for the race or ride ahead, the new René Herse Manastash Ridge might be the rubber for you. It shrugs off everything from fast pavement to deep mud or snow, grips like glue and won’t weigh you down.

Named after a rugged ridge in central Washington, not the third-person mumblings of an over-caffeinated bikepacker, the Manastash Ridge deploys a dual-purpose knobby tread to keep the tire supported by the same amount of rubber, whether rolling forward or leaning into a turn. As such, it’s grippy everywhere.

Thanks to the tire’s inbuilt Brake Support technology, the Manastash’s knobbies won’t give up and go home, even under the massive g-forces generated by hydraulic discs. Plus, noise-cancelling technology makes for one quiet ride, even on pavement. Result.
